Temple, TX-The Temple College Division of Business and Continuing Education is offering several new industry-related classes this fall, including Math for Industrial Automation Technicians, Introduction to Hydraulics, Introduction to Pneumatics and Introduction to Electromechanical Devices.
Math for Industrial Automation Technicians will be offered Oct. 26 and 27 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Introduction to Hydraulics will be offered Nov. 8 and 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Introduction to Pneumatics will be offered Nov. 15 and 17 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Introduction to Electromechanical Devices will be offered Dec. 6 and 8 from 1 to 5 p.m.
These short, focused courses were designed with our industrial partners in mind,” said Dennis McDonaugh, director of workforce education for the Division of Business and Continuing Education. “They provide an opportunity for technicians to attend training without missing a lot of time from work. They are perfect for employers who are looking to improve the skills of their workforce or technicians who want to expand their knowledge.”
The new courses will be taught by William Shadwick, who recently joined Temple College as an adjunct instructor after serving as director of manufacturing processes for MTC Worldwide.
